"Bush 2004: God Bless King George"
Edited on Sat Jul-12-03 01:07 PM by wellstone_democrat
Believe it or not...I saw a bumpersticker with exactly this on it this morning in Amarillo. Bush 2004 in larger letters on the top line, the other crap below it. I wondered about parody until I noticed that on this Lincoln Navigator, there was an old "Bush/Cheney" sticker.

Either the campaign has lost its collective mind, or the "freeperish" component of the population has.

On Edit: I teach gov policy, I almost had a stroke. Imagine "loving" any candidate or elected official enough to want a monarchy! Is there *anything* more antithetical to American founding principles????

3. My Mom...who by all accounts is a Saint...said one time
When Fergie married Andrew. She said to my Sisters English BF...."Well, looks like the Royal Family has themselves another brood sow". You could have heard a pin drop in the room. God Love my Mom...she comes out with some zingers now and again.

5. heh
I am ok with the English people but my god their government can be just as bad as ours. Not to mention being part mick makes me hold a grudge. God fuck the queen better than god save the queen imo.

4. well I wondered until
the weight of the evidence ON the vehicle persuaded me that the presence of :

Bush/Cheney sticker
American flag decal right on the paint
raggedy ass flag on the antenna
"Its a child not a choice" sticker
the plastic fish outline thing
and "Support President Bush and Support our Troops" sticker that is so famous down here in Texas were ALL on the vehicle----following for 10 miles on Route 40 you get a good long evaluative look at the vehicle.

perhaps it was created by its designer as sarcastic but it suits some people where I live as completely without irony.
