Suggestion re: censorship on Free Republic
Create a forum for Free Republic refugees that won't be censored. Call it the Free Republic Refugee Raft or something and promise them that it won't get censored like FR is.

That would be some funny stuff. They come here and read... I wonder how long it would take. It would only work if we all agreed not to troll the living bejeezus out of them, though.

Thoughts? Comments? Scathing criticisms?

1. i think it's interesting...
we could gain some allies.

but it'd be hard to keep some people from attacking them. there are, unfortunately, people on du that love to attack anyone with a different viewpoint.

apparently you think i came up with this idea. i'm just saying it has possibilities.

besides, aren't we the party of inclusion? aren't we supposed to be about the american ideal, "give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses?" or are we goin to be like freeperland?

i think the more people we gain as allies in the coming war, the better chance we have of getting through it. i'm sorry you don't feel that way.

but from my personal observation, the conservatives who are banned from FreepLand will always vote Rethug and drool over certain Rethug policies and ideas regardless of how badly they are treated. They all have that Battered Wife Syndrome.

Though your idea is worth a try, I suppose.

8. There already is a forum for ex-freepers on libertypost.org
It's in the section called "biker bar freerepublic"

If you have followed the crooked exploits of Jim Rob and company over the course of a few years, it can be pretty entertaining to read and occasionally dirt gets dished there.

I personally still think freerepublic's *time is gonna come* because those bastards are making money from somewhere and are in the thick of all things George W at all times.
