Another 'gannon'question to bush* himself, on June 01, 2004
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 01:35 AM by diamond14

at a PRESIDENTIAL PRESS CONFERENCE....indeed....so far, at TWO different, PACKED with reporters, rare, pResidential Press Briefings, the prostitute/pimp was called on by bush*....'gannon' is certainly NOT a random selection, he's a plant....

thanks for this HEADS up to the Washington Post, who identified 'gannon' as the softball thrower to bush* on June 01, 2004...in addition to the 'gannon' question to bush* in January 26, 2005

revelation of a second direct to bush* question from 'gannon' June 01, 2004...with transcript AND video links here...

comments from WP:

And, much like the other inaccurate, loaded question Guckert more famously asked Bush last month (see Thursday's column for more), this one, too, was bizarre -- apparently an invitation for Bush to take a victory lap regarding the Sudan peace deal. That deal was between the government and southern-based rebels -- while the much bigger story in Sudan was (and remains) the crisis in Darfur, where government-backed Arab militias have murdered tens of thousands of African civilians.

Last question.

Q Mr. President --

Q Mr. President, could you speak about Sudan, the peace agreement in Sudan and how that nation has turned away from terrorism?

THE PRESIDENT: Yes, I appreciate that. The question is on Sudan. Recently, there was a signature on a document that took us a step closer toward achieving our objective. However, it is very important for the Sudanese government to understand we're watching very carefully, the hunger, the brutal human conditions in the western part of their country, and that we expect there to be an accommodation to the relief agencies as well as the American government to get aid to those people. We're closer to an agreement in Sudan, it's a very important agreement. And we will continue to work the issue really hard.

1. So, how many total questions did Gannon ask...
...at all of the combined press conferences?

It would be interesting to see what Gannon's questions were.

Also, it would be interesting to see if Gannon was called on most of the times that he was in the room.

2. it's amazing that the chimp calls on him at TWO difference press events...

from the videos, it seems that there are many many more times that 'gannon' is called on during SCOTTY Press Briefings, when the pResident is NOT there....wonder if 'gannon' got called on at least once in every Scotty briefing??? don't know for sure....another research question: how many times does each reporter get called on by Scotty and by the pResident? a survey of the press conferences (all posted on the WH web site, transcript AND video) would clear that up...and show who gets preferential treatment (is this bush* 'affirmative action' for pimps and prostitutes?)

usual, during those very rare pResidential Press Conferences, there are at least 30 reporters anxious to be called on by the chimp, and only enough time for maybe 5 questions...it's a chance in a lifetime for a White House Reporter....seems that new and pimped reporter 'jeff gannon' got more opportunities from the pResident himself, than any other reporter.....
