new theory on Propagannongate
What if "Gannon" was deployed specifically as bait for members of the press corps?

The objective being to compromise (and thus neutralize) White House correspondents.

This could explain the media's pussyfooting 'round the story. It could be the reason for his early arrogance in his responses to the accusations.

and the question of who ran interference with the FBI and Secret Service to get a gay B&D prostitute into the White House would still apply.

I think he's got a sugar daddy who is high enough up in the feeding chain to consider himself invincible.

6. Exactly my thoughts.
Who is high enough up in the administration to get this guy such a cushy gig, gloss over what he was, and not worry about getting slapped for it? The list can't be that long.

8. Who ever can pull enough strings to overided a Secret Service back
ground check thats who...should be asking yourself just who that is? Don't believe McClellan has that much pull...do you?

13. I always check myself...
...when I jump to the Rove conclusion, but I did think that the diatribe that he went into regarding the protest at Rove's house was interesting. When I was reading that (at Americablog, I think) I was thinking "who gives a shit?!"

but I am really fascinated by the fact that this guy hasn't left footprints ANYWHERE......

no college references
no military information
no family or friends information....

either he's absolutely insignificant or he has deliberately tried no to leave footprints..........
