These people know what struggles are and to be disenfranchised. They still speak out and with truth and integrity on their side.

I know this is a stupid question to ask, but where is the House Democratic Leadership in helping push the Conyers probes onto a higher burner? Where's the DNC in getting these people seen and heard to a wider audience. There's no echo chamber here. Just silence.

aside, watched Conyers manage the S9 house floor debate this morning. Most who spoke on the Dem side were CBC. Impressed.

I engineered at a public radio station that carried all of the Nixon hearings in the House. That's where I first heard John Conyers, Paul Sarbanes, Charlie Rangel, Elizabeth Holtzman and great Peter Rodino...doing a job they didn't want to do, but had to. They faced a young Helmethead Lott who felt a lie about sloppy sex was impeachable, but a criminal enterprise working inside the government was just "fayhne"...nothing's changed!
