Excellent, rational points made by Ron Reagan

I just caught part of his (and Monica Crowley's) new show at 5 on MSNBC. The issue was the Schiavo case. Guests were Geoff Fieger and a forgettable, over-emotional blonde bimbo. She was going on about Schiavo being starved to death when Ron asked her how long she'd like to be kept alive in a persistant vegetative state. She didn't want to answer, but when pressed, said she'd like to receive food and water.

Ron asked her if she'd ever been at a deathbed. She wouldn't answer but blathered on. Ron asked her again, "Have you ever been at a deathbed, because I have. People at the end of their lives don't eat or drink. Ever."
