Bush is bombing on his Homeland Security speech to the FBI.
It is the FLATTEST performance I have ever seen from him. SO tired. Smattering applause. THEE most boring speech EVER.

I think he got his energy from adulation and worship, and there is NONE there to be found.

4. Good Lord
I may have to change this before I fall asleep on my keyboard. He's just droning on and on. I've lost track of what he's even talking about other than terror, terror, war, terror, etc.

12. It's also on MSNBC
Never mind the constant stream of bullshit that spews forth out of GWB's mouth; notice how his personality changes from day to day. This one is somewhere between the quiet, non-drawling, simpy-faced milktoast who addressed the nation on Sunday and the loud, swaggering, drawling podium pounder the factory in Ohio last week. Maybe it's in the hat.

15. Personality shifts
Hmm. Sounds like he was full of drunken bravado in Ohio and burdened with a hangover and remorse on Sunday.

13. He's swaggering bellying up to the bar and Promoting Patriot II
It's really a frightening speech.....He wants to proscute everyone, and not allow bail......he's getting off on it because it's filled with references to detaining and prosecuting terrorists the same as we do "child abusers."

He's doing his evil...they hate us stuff. It's classic Bush to me....more sincere than the speech the other night.

He get's off on speaking to "Law Enforcers" I think. He's mean and cruel....

Very mild applause......folks didn't think it was a good speech at all.......that's good!

16. Ohferchrissakes... Judy Woodruff is such a Chimp apologist!
Edited on Wed Sep-10-03 02:45 PM by VolcanoJen
She's positively shameless about it.

Rep. Ed Markey is smacking her points around real good on CNN now, and she keeps shushing him. Here's what she just replied:

"But, all he wants to do is expand the death penalty for terrorists!! We can use administrative subpeonas to go after crooked doctors, why can't the President use the same power to go after terrorists?"

Markey: "Judy, do you honestly believe that the thread of a tougher death penalty is going to stop suicide bombers???"

Judy: "But.... but...."
