What are we not supposed to notice during the Gannon scandal?
KKKarl Rove is, after all, the Master of Misdirection. We have to consider the possibility that what looks like the answer to a Democrat's prayer (GannonGate) could be a well-orchestrated slow leak from the White House to "inoculate" the story--as was done with Hatfield.

We must also consider that the Gannon story could be a distraction from itself, loony as that sounds.

:wtf: are we supposed to ignore while we're feasting on what looks like Lewinsky II?

2. I understand your point but I don't believe this is what they would do
do turn heads in another direction. This is too messy and too fraught with potential long term complications. Ari coming out of the woodwork to make a statement doesn't match any of their previous MO's for the type of operation you describe. Drudge isn't touching the story with a ten foot pole and he would be one of the biggest cheerleaders if they wanted a story picked up. I think that they really don't want this flaming steaming pile on their doorstep right now. Bushie is trying to sell his SS scam and I can't imagine they wanted a distraction of this magnitude.

13. I don't think so either
I really believe their own arrogance has gotten the better of them. They just plain believe they can do anything and get away with it.

I don't think they wanted this to come out at all. Is Faux covering it? Rush? I think it's making the news in spite of them, not because of them, or we'd be seeing a whole lot more corporate media coverage.

3. the 52 warnings leading up to 911
the fact that condi lied under oath.
The fact that Bush knew 911 was going to happen and nothing was done to prevent it.

The new budget and how bad it is fucking up this country.

The fact that we still haven't signed the kyoto treaty even though everyday the whitehouse recieves warnings from scientists all over the world that climate change is happening.

The fact that scientists are dropping dead

the fact that Iraq is a huge mess.

.....I could go on all night

10. Yeah... and ignore the fact that
Clarke's memo was released and the Clinton administration had a plan for dealing with terrorists, starting with the creation of the Department of Homeland Security...

Oh and not to crap on your parade, but if you remember, one of the provisions of Condi's testimony was that she not have to testify under oath. On the other hand I think when the Lewinsky "scandal" took place a law was inacted making it illegal to lie to Congress whether or not you are under oath. Am looking into this...

6. this is lewinsky in reverse...
with clinton the repukes hammered clinton on anything that looked shady. They used whitewater, travel office jennifer flowers etc. to paint president clinton and someone you can't trust. then lewinsky hit and the repuked claimed "you see we were right." for us our lewinsky moment came when no wmd were found. now with recent scandals or more scandals the american people are seeing a pattern of deception. the difference is president clinton made a personal mistake in his personal life and took heat for it...shrub made a mistake and the world hates usf or it, thousands have died and our credibility it shot.

9. Guckert was a loose cannon
and they did not expect these things to come out now.

In fact, the number of people who knew Guckert was a manwhore was probably very small. I suspect an extremely small inner circle, maybe as small as one.
