In other words, with 85% of the US military, republicans are outnumbered 2-1.

Of my husband's entire unit, 1 voted for bush & is a republican, 2 are reps but voted for Kerry, 1 is an Indy who didn't vote for anyone; all the rest are Dems who voted for Kerry.

Even if everything on your list happened, I doubt it would change many minds; they would just spin it so that liberals and Democrats would take the blame for their problems. Most are too stupid or too lazy or both, to bother with determining who should really get any of the blame.

It's gonna be a long haul. And yet, there will still be those 'true believers' for whom Nothing will ever suffice to shake their faith in their leader.

Unless it directly affects them for a long period of time they will not wake up. They have been made over as drones in the mold that Corporations want them to be.

I am now TOTALLY convinced the situation is hopeless.
