"Unidentified foreign security force"?!? There are not too many foreign security forces in Iraq to choose from are there?

2. now Cooley
I am trying to be serious here. Can you believe this shit? The only other "foreign" security forces other than the US military in Baghdad right now would be one of our highly paid merc units.

3. You're right - it might be a new trend in the press...
...to use such a phrase to not-directly implicate US troops. But you're spot-on - in Baghdad, US troops are the only "foreign security" personnel.

Was this caption written by a journalist who believes what Eason was saying is true?

4. Mystery Solved. US Paid Mercenaries Killing Civilians...
In a separate shooting in Baghdad, foreign troops killed a woman and injured another person traveling with her on the dangerous road to Baghdad's international airport, al-Hamadani said. A bystander also was shot in the spine and taken to a hospital.

Associated Press Television News cited witnesses as saying the unidentified men who opened fire were in a convoy of three white sport utility vehicles, which are frequently used by foreign security contractors. The small white car the slain woman was traveling in could be seen on the road, its shattered windows splattered with blood.

5. Not nearly as bad a tragedy as the parents who got shot by US forces
It was front-page news in the UK papers in january -- a family (parents in the front, three kids in the back) were shot at a US checkpoint, apparently because the dad didn't slow down. Parents were killed. the three kids tumbled out of the car screaming and hysterical after seeing their parents die. There was a heartbreaking photo of the little girl, about three, shrieking in terror. the story went on to say that the US soldiers immediately swooped in and "comforted the kids" and "took care of the little boy's injuries" and oh, they were such humanitarians.

After they'd shot the parents to death.

7. Heh, I don't recall it getting that much reporting in the US
Then again, that might be due to the fact that I don't watch much corporate news anymore and that the corporate news has a corporatist agenda.

maybe he'll supply lies about Iran from when he visited there to complement his lies about Iraq.
They scrubbed the "The small white car the slain woman was traveling in could be seen on the road, its shattered windows splattered with blood."!
