With Gannon threatening to sue, I think we need to dig deeper
and faster. I have a feeling this threat of litagation is mearly a scare tactic to get the blogosphere off the trail. I think we are close to something or he is afraid we will find out something very important. Basically, I smell a rat.

We've been saying, those of us that claim this isn't a dead horse, that there is more to this. I think his threat of litagation just cements this line of thinking.

Lastly, as Avarosis said on a recent post, we need to be certain we are double, if not triple, checking anything we put out there. Don't give the right or the MSM any ammunition to use against the blogosphere or make it seem as though it's a personal issue.

2. You know damn well that his WH contacts don't want him to sue.
Too much would have to come out, especially under oath. Let him sue. It's a blogger's wet dream!

3. If he sues
the people he sues will have the right to depose him under oath. Do you suppose he wants that?

10. He wants to stay alive.
He has to keep his name in the public to try to prevent any quirky accidents that might mean his demise.

4. His days are already numbered.
Law suit hastens his demise. Marked man. His only hope is to disappear like to Costa Rica.

And then attach it to lawsuit.

8. Yes, I agree with all of the statements made
If he sues there is a discovery phase and most likely his client list would be made public.

That is what makes me think this is a scare tactic to throw the blogosphere off the scent.

9. Have we established whether he was a taxpayer-funded HO?
His HOing Busholini-produced propaganda was SOOOOOO obvious.

If this HO was a taxpayer-funded HO of Busholini propaganda,...my OH my,...what an incredibly vile administration we have.

11. If Gannon sues it may very well put an end to RW bloggers
And Rethugs are not going to take a chance at that happening.

Also a recent court case threw out a suit about online commenting. I will need to check my files for the reference

12. The point I'm trying to make
Is that I think he has NO INTENTION of suing. Scare tactic to make bloggers scared.

13. Bwaahahhaaa - LET HIM SUE.

It opens him up to subpoenas from the defense - he'd have to reveal his client list :)

14. When a man threatens to sue...
EVEN if that man has no case, the smart thing to do is get a lawyer in turn. Couldnt hurt.

15. I'm sure the bloggers are shaking in their boots--not.....

Given that all that has been said about him appears to be true, and that
a suit would only expose it more, frankly I hope he does sue!

The Media Matters guy, David Brock, is very careful. Bring it on, I say.
