1. I Wanna Agree...
But even his recent appearances are meant
to spin in his favior, plus no MSM TV news
are playing it like Lewinsky or Paula,
nothing of the sort.

An occassional article here
& there means nothing.

If the story truely broke, Bush would
resign, the GOP would die and forever
lose their hold on the middle America
red states.

That's what at stake, and TV knows it.

Keep the faith.

2. Dude, nothing can touch Bush - Jesus is with him
Even if we had photos of Guckert with Bush in bed, they would be labeled as "Photoshopped" and then ignored.

Regardless of the amount of damaging evidence we find, without access to legal recourse nothing will happen. And these bastards are shutting off our ability to even protest publicly.

5. Either & Or...
Either the MSM is totally cowed and afraid of Bush Inc.
or the MSM is totally bought & paid for by Bush Inc.

There's simply too much scandalous info about eveything
RE Bush Inc. for the MSM to cover, but instead ignore
and don;t cover.

Totally afraid or bought & paid for.

I don't what else to think.

18. war on america....
it's simple...our societies are being crushed by a vast rightwing conspiracy of nazipoos....there are people who say 'nonsense, no one gonna believe that!' and suggest we work within guidelines set up by mediawhores (the entire media is whoring UNLESS they prove otherwise, like mike malloy, randi, ed shultz, guy james, hightower, molly ivans, robert fisk, greg palast, mike moore, dave brock, paul krugman, Ruppert, the indy media boggers etc)...but things are going to get worse until the truth's toxicity to the gop partyline as presented by their hired mediawhores (nevermind they be cnn or foox or cbs or so on!) remember, peter jennings get $28000 EVERYDAY and that isn't for professionalism...it's for his sodomy/sukking skills etc re see gannonguckert....
it's war against civilization..

3. Unlikely to hurt him
There are many, many other facts out there which should have prevented Bush from being reelected. Those who support him don't care. They will ignore the story.

Of course I could be wrong--you never know when a tipping point is going to be reached, so don't take this prediction as reason not to pursue the story.

6. This is somewhat important
I also don't want to totally blow off this story as unimportant. The gay aspect is not a key reason compared to his other problems, but is one more example of hypocrisy on the right. To me, the bigger story is the manipulation of the news, but this will be ignored by many as the gay aspect is a far juicier story. Even if conservatives realize how the news media is being manipulated by the GOP, they will likely see this as a good thing. Pravda is their model for the news media.

7. For this story to have much impact, there need to be more revelations
I am hoping some revelations that can be substantiated turn up putting pressure on the WH to provide more information. There are a lot of unanswered questions such as Gannon's funding sources and how he got vaulted into his position as WH reporter so quickly and easily and who was feeding him information and was he privy to any classified info, but I wonder if we will ever get answers to this puzzling story as long as Repubs are unwilling to look into the matter.

9. Well, Sure...
But the first Gannon-Blitzer interview was
the first orchestrated spin move of the
over all Guckert-Spin.

He's not going on TV to get grilled,
but to spin and be helped by Blitzer-types
doing it.

10. My worry is that...
...most of the public will not "get" it. And the Rove-ites are just going to use this to re-define the meaning of the words "media" and "reporter" to suit their needs.

11. It's not the Gannon story by itself that will "hurt" Bush,
but the pattern of propaganda it represents. This view is best articulated in Frank Rich's NYT piece:

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/20/arts/20rich.html

I think Gannon, Armstrong Williams, etc., is just the tip of the iceberg, as Rich points out. The more we keep up the pressure on the story, the more the press will focus on the massive propagnada effort undertaken by the White House.

12. Bush has pissed off
enough people for me to think that someone is already working on bringing him down--we can always lend a hand

but then I thought Kerry had a grand strategy for the election follow-up as well.

13. Only if the media shows an interest
and since most of them are on Bush's payroll...there will probably be little interest. Which reminds me, I wonder why my check hasn't arrived. Are any of you experiencing a slowness of your checks from the White, lol, nearly wrote Whore, House.

14. How many of these defeatist posts do you intend to create?
Oh well, wet blankets for all.

Contact the media, if you actually want to DO something

My letter

"Gannongate" -Fake journalist, paid propaganda, and the decay of the 4th estate. I am absolutely shocked that this scandal has gotten so little attention. "Gannon" is obviously at the least a plant to smear at the White House's will, and quite possibly much, much, more. Its the active subversion of the 4th estate. When an administration controls ALL branches of government, and then undermines, fabricates, and deceives the citizenry through paid propaganda and outright lies, well, when is the word tyranny appropriate? With a $50 two day course in propaganda as the extent of his 'journalism' training, a 'Washington Bureau Chief Correspondent" who has more training as a professional HOOKER than reporter has smeared, steered debate, and crafted the dialogue on apparent instruction by the White House!

The security and prostitution aspects of Mr."Gannon" are equally as troubling. For an administration that claims the things it professes, it is in direct contradiction to its actions.

Can you imagine if this treason were a Democratic White House? The press and republicans would burn them at the stake.

Its amazing...astonishing! I have lost all faith in any of the major news outlets to tell the truth about anything. I guess I will have to get my news about America from the foreign press!

15. Nobody expected the Watergate burglary to take down Nixon either
but it did.

Will this take Bush down? No one knows. And IMO that's not even the question. For those of you who are not sure as to the IMPORTANCE of this story and issue, perhaps some of these links will help explain. Hint: this has the potential to get to and reveal the very core of how the Bush/Rove dirty tricks and propaganda regime work:
