I've seen lots of people disregard the hecklers as just Larouchians, but even if they were Larouchians, one of the hecklers during Joe Lieberman's second heckling got a lot of applause. I can't be the only one who noticed that. Maybe they said something interesting. Does anyone know what exactly the hecklers said?
Remember that a lot of the people attending were black college students, and they booed the daylights out of Lieberman for his pro-Israeli rhetoric. I think the heckler said something anti-Israeli that got crowd support.
During his little debate with Dean the audience booed and moaned at his rhetoric. Booing is generally not done at debates. What normally happens when a candidate is hated is slow, weak clapping. In Lieberman's case, the crowd reaction was extreme.
For a political debate it was a horrible reaction. It's not the WWF for crissake.
