There is some very difficult stuff to sort out around the high level support staff of the political advisors and press office.

While the links undoubtedly exist, getting something solid on them will be difficult. I actually think it requires prolonged contact with the players.

The lurid sensational aspect is fading but the boring facts will slowly surface as the investigation continues. My guess is that CBS and other orgs are working on digging out the connections between gopusa/Falon and Gannon and how it relates to the Rather setup. The dry facts usually take longer and are not as exiting as anything related to sex.

This shit didn't happen to us overnight, and it WON'T be stopped as quickly either. Everyone of us wants this story to take off, and rightfully so, but we have to be realistic.

The Gannon story will not go away unless we want it to. Be patient. We have some very enlightened folks here and it would be a travesty to let this go by the wayside.
