"Conspiracy Theory" as BOOGA BOOGA

Making supper with "Connections" (the show with Ron Reagan Jr and what's her face) on in the background, I overheard them talking about the emergence of blogs and their impact on the news. They mentioned DeLay and the CNN guy as having been demoted by the info posted on blogs..and then they got a spokesperson from that chartreuse balls site to discuss the value of blogs. Naturally they got digs in at Kos, and said that while "they" were strict about facts, other less reputable blogs post nothing but "conspiracy theories".

Sadly Ron did not point out that some conspiracy theories unearth actual conspiracies.

Is this how they simultaneously dismiss and promote the blog?

of providing 'news', or fold it up and pack it in. They have no relevance and i can't say that enough. Every time i'm tempted to turn on the news i ask myself why? what useful information will i possibly get that i won't have to thoroughly check anyway?
