For the record - just what WMD evidence was found in Iraq?

This from a friend of mine in the Marines (works in intelligence...I wonder sometimes - ignore the spelling)...


in addition to the very small supply of 'weaponized' wmd that has been found in the possession of former iraqi regime guys/gals

(not that i would personally even try to count any of that as a victory since all it does is indicate they "had" something, which we already knew -- except for all the bio-weapons seed stocks that we found under one of the scientists gardeners sinks, or somthing to that effect -- they were pretty scary -- but were only seed stocks of the contagions...not weaponized)

we also found missiles to deliver the systems (in violation of UN)(weren't these the ones found and destroyed by the inspectors?)

lav's to deliver wmd (in violation of UN)

and the mobile labs that could be used to produce anthrax (in violation of UN)

plus LOTS of gear for processing nuclear material burried in numerous back yards (also in violation of UN). all denied by the iraqis pre oif.


we ALSO found brand new french air defense systems (missiles, radars, etc.)(irrelevant?)

and brand new russian gps jammers(also irrelevant?)

(and heaps of other financial docs which will be exposing heaps of folks, to include some americans, but corporate types, vice high gov't officials).(hmmmm...)


AND...we also found all the 'wmd' (toxins really) that aq qas working on up in kurma -- but they had moved most of their labs over to iran before the strike -- a bit sad about that...(uh huh...)


anyway -- wmd should never have been the reason to go in...was only pushed to sell the UN and we should never have bothered with them since many of their officials (and other county's ambassadors/votes) were in the literal pay of saddam hussein. silly...

none of this argues that we should have gone in when we did...only that we did find most of what we said we would (that was in violation of UN)...for whatever that is worth now...not much i reckon.

Marine Intelligence? I smell disinformation.

since the beginning I believe. Yup. Convienced.

we would not be getting this spiel from a third rate California congressman. Every heavy hitter in the Administration and Congress and all of their neo-con handlers would be everywhere saying "we told you so". They say military intelligence is a contradiction in terms. Marine intelligence..........Well,......Hmmmmm.

Yes they exceeded the allowable range... but they had not been fitted with terminal guidence systems which would have increased weight cutting their range. Rather than argue this point... Saddam destroyed them in January or February 2003.

I'm sure Saddam bought them to jam JDAM weapons which, and I may be wrong, I don't even believe were around when the Gulf War ended.

The reporting just before the invasion covered this story and the LAVs... if by that you mean Light Aerial Vehicles.... were made of balsa wood and duct tape. They were not an operational WMD delivery system.
