Condi to replace Cheney as VP next year?
I know WND is a wingnutty type site, but this is still an interesting possibility.

P.S. Sorry if this is a dupe post, I couldn't find another mention of it.

Vice President Dick Cheney likely will step down next year due to health reasons and be replaced by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, according to a report by geopolitical expert Jack Wheeler.

On his website, To the Point, Wheeler reports there's a "red-breasted rumor bird" flying around Capitol Hill that has whispered the same thing to most congressional committee chairmen.

1. according to a repuke friend last summer ...this was being considered
even before September ...there are many who feel that Cheney bears too much negativity on Bush's fake image.

3. This is just the kind of political move that Bush would do.
The grim ogre Cheney is replaced by the vibrant and younger Condi Rice. Bush then gets credit for placing a black woman a heartbeat away from the Presidency. It could very well happen.

8. I think it's a set up for Halliburton
Cheney steps down next year cause of his health and Rice takes over. Then in two/three years Halliburton will have a home in Iraq.

4. Now they're flaunting the rules. Don't they know they don't choos this.
The "Washington Two Step" requires that the VP leave due to scandal and that he/she be replaced with a consensus "establishment" candidate (i.e., Ford).

This won't do. They're gaming the system. The powers that be, you know the ones that see themselves losing everything because * is a nut case, those folks already have a replacement.

* is being very bad! Bad *, go to bed.

5. i called that one two years ago...
i figured condi would replace him halfway thru, to get the party adjusted to the idea, and set her up for a run in 2008.

Gannongate is all that stands in her/their way.

9. I think that's why
Gannongate is so important. It could be our last hope. That's why they're not talking about it or want it talked about and brought up these tapes.

6. Chris Rock: "As long as you live, you ain't never gonna see no black VP"
"As long as you live, you ain't never gonna see no black vice president. Not while the president is white. You know why? Because some black guy would just kill the president. I'd do it. If we had a black vice president right now, I couldn't wait to kill the president. What's gonna happen to me? What are you gonna do? Put me in jail with a bunch of black guys who would treat me like a hero for the rest of my life?"

From his "Black Ambition" tour a few years back...
