Does Bush have Alzheimer's?
Early Alzheimer's starts in the early 50s..and often looks the same as the many symptoms that he exhibits.

about a doctor who said he saw the early stages of Alzeimers (which the repubs will probably try to name "Reagan's disease") in Bush's verbal gaffes.... which I think only prove his ineptetude and sub-normal brain capacity. Also, they prove he is fucking nuts.

Just chronic stupidity.

Even more seriously, it very well could be the case his current "issues" are related to his drug and alcohol abuse.

12. Early onset Alzheimers...
looks a good bit different than old age Alzheimer's. It starts well before old age...and by age 60, if one does not show the symptoms of early onset..then it is unlikely one will be afflicted by it. The cause is unknown..and it is difficult to diagnose since in the early stages of it..which last for many years, the symptoms mimic many other conditions..such as stroke residual, diminished mental capacity, forgetfulness, confusion, etc. might appear...even alcoholism and the typical symptoms of addictive behavior. All of these could be bush...and may well be the reason it is so difficult to determine just what it is that ails him.

14. How about Rummy?
There's an article on Buzzflash discussing Rummy's chronic forgetfulness about documents he's supposed to have seen. The author surmises he's being kept out of the loop...I wonder if he's just forgetting. It would explain the crankiness.

7. Instead of blowing up frogs with firecrackers....
Now he has the largest arsenal in human history and sitting on top of the World. Oh yea, and he thinks all of his military blunders are amusing.

If he does have Alzheimer's, maybe we'll get lucky and it will progress so rapidly, due to prior drug and alcohol abuse, that he'll forget who the Hell he is or thinks he is.

16. Yes, the degeneration is noticeable.
When he was running for Governor, he was an unbearable half-bright frat-boy asshole. But he had more snap than he does nowadays.

However, there are numerous possible causes for brain damage.
