Former Daschle Campaign Spokesman Says Media Was Aware Gannon Had Told Lies About His Identity As Far Back as the Summer of 2003

By ADVOCATE STAFF

You might have thought the strange saga of Jeff Gannon was a recent development, a story whose genesis is not so deep in the murky annals of Washington political history, but, in fact, only about four weeks old, when John Aravosis of America Blog discovered that Gannon has moonlighted as a male escort.

Well, you'd be wrong.

According to Dan Pfeiffer, former spokesman for Tom Daschle--the U.S. Senate Minority Leader until his defeat in the 2004 general election--Jeff Gannon's use of assumed identities was information available to the media as far back as the summer of 2003.

This is unconscionable-- but sooooo typical.

I'm surprised they haven't written an amendment to the Constitution that states the President is, at all times, above the law.

21. Doesn't need an amendment, he's got Patriot Acts & new SCOTUS justices
to appoint, all passed and confirmed by his pet Rethug Congress. Amendments take time and work, and he worked hard already stealing the election. Now he's ready to spend some of his political capital that he got from his mandate. No, not THAT Man Date.

I believed all along that the press had to know. As "nosy" as their profession is, there would have had to have been a natural curiosity. But to become aware, however so, and to not do anything is outrageous.

Thank you so much for your investigation, congratulations on getting results and much appreciation for sharing them with us. The public may believe the king has no clothes. But to know why is priceless.

In fact, considering how controlling this administration is about protecting its dirty business, how much bribe money in general has factored into the $7,689,935,780,269.27 deficit?

The White House has gotten away with dismissing the tough questions and charging on in spite of pressing concerns over ethics and propriety and Constitutionality.

This can only go on so long. Eventually, even the most ardent supporters are going to want their curiosity satisfied.

Boy, are people going to be pissed.....

24. Another bookmarked blog. Thank you Nashua!
Now, I have one question for Gannon: Why did this idiot email the Daschle headquarters with the SAME email of his aol website? It takes a mere minute to get a free email account. Or did he not care if he was found out OR he knew they (the white house) knew about him so he figured 'what the hell'.

Nashua is correct. This REEKS!

People who are really smart and capable typically do not wind up in the fields of prostitution or organized crime like Gannon/Guckert or Rove.

36. This is the other side of it.
I've never been able to figure out why, if Rove wanted to plant a Republican operative as a fake reporter, he would choose a loose cannon like Gannon.

There are plenty of reasonably presentable, reasonably intelligent young Republicans out there who would slit their wrists to be where Gannon was.

The only thing I can think of is it must be love.

he's just a wannabe and now is a laughing stock ... and the sad part is he really thinks Rove likes him. Once Rove is finished using him he'll throw him to the wayside like so many others. This is where his REAL stupidity comes in.

It is further proof that the MSM is not engaged so much in true journalism as in some form of science .... because they can take hard facts and turn them into soft shit instantly. "Scatology" has been applied to both the study of the digestive tract and to the collecting of "dirty" literature; it now defines the White House press/cess pool.

This happens in many professions. Doctors cover for doctors, lawyers for lawyers, cops for cops, CEO's for CEO's and obviously, Whores for Whores. The MSM no longer even makes a veiled attempt at reporting unbiased news. They are all whores and are just covering for one, or many, of their own.
