USA Next stole the pics used in the anti-AARP ad!
DailyKos has the story:

The anti-AARP ad used our photo!

Dear Friends,

My husband Steven and I recently had our photo used in a right wing conservative add against the AARP without our permission. They basically stole the photo from The Portland Tribune's website or it was sold to them; we still have not found out how this happened. The ad and many blogs are mentioned on the Daily KOS www.dailykos.com who brought this to light, thanks guys.

2. Didi you sign a release for the photo?
A newspaper has "fair use" for items such as these, and may not need your permission to use it in print, but ANY other application needs your express permission. You have multiple rights being abused if you did not expressly sign a release giving them up... moral rights, rights of publicity, use of likeness... even if you did sign a release it would, in this case, have to specifically mention moral rights.

If you did not sign a release for that picture, you can easily get a court order stopping all use. They would have to stop distributing any material featuring that picture at once. All of that expensive printed material.
