bush is telling the world who can, or cannot have nuclear weapons
He's telling all of Europe, repeatedly, how it's gonna be. You cannot sell arms to China. Iran must not have a nuclear program. Threats and bullying. Hitlerian diplomacy.

Who is he to say who can or cannot have weapons of ANY kind? So far on the nuclear scoreboard, it's America 1, everybody else 0, so what gives bush the right to go to Europe and demand that other nations not have them?

Should France have a nuke program? Or Germany? Israel has nuclear weapons, and N. Korea as well. Why isn't' bush demanding that North Korea cease it's nuclear weapons program? I don't get it.

I know one sonofabitch who SHOULDN'T have nukes, and that's george fucking bush.

1. I agree where do we get off telling any other country anything. We think
we are the only ones with the moral high ground?

7. we got ours...none for you
yep...keep any opposition to the USA defenseless, while we go forward building bigger and better bombs. Standard policy. I really wish the UN would pass a few resolutions against Bush and start inspections here...just to send a message.

That would be great.

2. With Pakistan furiously at work selling technology to all comers and
calling it the Islamic Bomb and N.Korea selling long range missiles to everyone, it won't be long before even Papua-New Gunie has several atomic weapons and missiles. The best way Bush can stop the spread of nuclear weapons and missiles would be to just buy these damn things from Pakistan and N.Korea and stick them underground.

3. I think this is all chest beating for the benefit of his followers
here who think that he is a macho man and proud to see him bullying the big bad Europeans.

I think the trip is aimed at trying to stave off the European threat of influence over the American economy to the point of driving it down. This little jaunt, that we pay for btw, seems so frivolous , except for it's propaganda effect on his loyal red necks, that it leads me to think there are hidden peripheral issues--I could almost think it is somewhat desperate.

5. Ah but this is not new policy. This has been the policy of NATO and
to extent the UN for decades. You can not blame everything on the moron.

6. But the difference is
this is the leader of the one and (currently) only superpower. Not a diplomatic body made up of several nations. The guy came to Canada and gave our government shit over missile defense, and basically said that Americans will hate paying for the protection of Canada, so we better sign on to avoid this situation. What a fucking buffoon.

11. Oh, Come On!
I don't like Li'l Georgie any more than you do, but this is not a Bush thing.

The United States has been telling people who can and can't have nukes since 1945.

The only reason we didn't stop the USSR, was because we were sick of war when they developed theirs, and by the time we weren't they had to many to mess with them. Same with China.

We never let Germany or Japan have them, and they've been allies for 60 years!

For all the things not to like about the Idiot Prince, this isn't one of them.
