I'm curious about the Bush cheerleaders
Some questions:

-- taxpayer funded, I assume?

-- how much?

-- did they hire them in Germany, or fly them over from the U.S.?

-- how about the hiring process, who hires them? Karl Rove?

-- who are they? Where does one hire cheerleaders?

18. LOL
The girls seem to enjoy it too whispering to their men. Except the two girls in the pink sweaters. They look like they're kinda pissy about it. LOL.

4. Curious to find that answer
but they look like they're cheerleaders for some professional sports team......are there any professional "American" sports in Europe? I know there used to be a European version of the NFL. (I remember laughing about the Madrid Dragons a few years ago.) I think they were probably recruited/paid an honorarium (ah-hem) to perform for the Bush* visit.

American football is popular in Germany. I was staying at a youth hostel in a sports park and an entire team of young women football players were staying there too! They looked pretty tough in all their pads and gear.

9. That's for fucking real?
I saw that on another post and swear I thought it was photo-shopped. Bush has no class. That should be a solemn occasion, after all Germany is where all those soldiers from Iraq are coming after their legs are blown off. When did Bush address that? No, he had the Halliburton Dancers come on stage for a little self-promotion. Bush sickens me. The troops in the stands don't look too thrilled, they see their comrades coming from Iraq with severe head wounds, they aren't fooled, and this chump of a president gives them cheerleaders, what an embarrassment.

27. The military routinely sponsors cheerleader tours
to overseas bases... but I can't say I've ever seen them used as the opening act for a presidential address. Bush is just a whole new kind of tacky.

16. All good questions!
If ever there was a man who needed paid cheerleaders, it is bushbrain. I think he has a thing for cheerleaders...u often see him pictured with cheerleaders...and he was one himself...and, of course, he is a complete dufass....and a complete embarrassment for us all.

Edited on Wed Feb-23-05 05:01 PM by TheGoldenRule
Just one more example that * has no respect, morality or ethics! The troops are giving their very lives for his selfish greed and thirst for power! It is obvious by this little show that they are nothing more to him than mere pawns to be used and discarded!

:puke: :puke: :puke:

I gave it a 1-my only choice since I couldn't give it the ZERO it deserves!
