What'd happen if we all cancelled all newspaper & magazine subscriptions
in protest of their not covering GannonGate?
Think it would have any effect?
I'm really pissed that print media is not carrying the story.

1. Well I'm glad I subscribe to the New Yorker
They break a new story on the Evil Regime about every week. I'm sure there are others. Frankly I don't take Time or Newsweek. I don't even take a daily Washington Post.

4. Ironically, in today's media climate, we'd probably be BETTER informed.
I think Americans would act more sensibly on instinct than they act based on the idiotic spin the media puts on current events.

I've decided that the difference between right wing propaganda and left-wing propaganda is that RW propaganda tries to convince you to act in the best interest of a large, wealthy corporation, whereas LW propaganda tries to convince you to act in your own best interest.

With no propaganda, people would realize that they should be voting in their best interests for progressives, and not in the best interests of a few big corporations for conservatives.

5. We would stop getting them.
However, I think that is about all that would happen.
