2. big bang theory explains the beginning of the universe-after the beginning
is what you mean I believe.

We start the "Big Bang" theory, the Big Bang Theory only starts, after creation.

3. The Big Bang is the start of the universe.
Accoring to the theory.

4. actually, it holds that the big bang is the start of the KNOWN universe.
it has nothing to say about anything that might have happened prior, other than to say that any such claim is nondisprovable and therefore has no scientific meaning.

5. Right. It's a subtle point.
There are whole portions of the universe that can't be observed. If these portions even emit light, it either hasn't reached us, yet, or it can't be observed. It's one of the Cosmological Problems.

I'm not a Cosmologist by any means, so if there's anything wrong here, just correct me.

6.  It is important to understand that the theory is constantly revised.
As more observations are made and more research conducted, the Big Bang theory becomes more complete and our knowledge of the origins of the universe more substantial.

8. The most distant galaxies are moving away from us at ever increasing
speeds. As of now we have observed galaxies movingaway at 90% of the speed of light. When you reach galaxies that are moving away at the speed of light , we will have reached the edge of the observable universe. That does not mean that the universe is not still out there, we just can't see it.

An interesting question to me is whether the Universe is infinite and are all the bodies in the universe moving away from each others such that some day the universe will just be a bunch of disparate matter. On the other hand if space is nothingness and the universe is not infinite, then something else is out there that is beyond our current comprehension.

7. Actually, we can mathematically calulate back to

the 10 to the negative 43rd power of a second after the beginning of time. Big bang theory explains nothing about the beginning of time, space and matter. It only can start explaining anything the instant after the start of the universe. The moment of creation is the merger of physics and metaphysics IMO.
