i just got a call from Mike Honda!

asking me to be at a town hall meeting to discuss * dismantling social security! saturday at 12:30 70 w.hedding st san jose.should i go?

I loved having Mike Honda as my Representative. He may not be the best stump-speaker around, but he's a genuine and decent liberal, imho.

I'd be damned sure to point out (loudly) that the greatest danger to Social Security is the war on the working class - increasingly low wages and increasingly low employment levels. When the total payroll base shrinks, then the payroll tax revenues shrink along with it.

We need far greater economic equity in this nation.
