Howie the hypocrite does it again.
Howard Kurtz

TODAY:

I'm not a fan of secretly recording conversations with a friend and then releasing them to the world.

THEN:

Kurtz speaking of Linda Tripp's secret telephone recordings of Monica Lewinsky, in Michael Isikoff's Book "Uncovering Clinton."

"I would have listened to those tapes in a heartbeat,"

Rightwingnuts; biggest hypocritical MFers on the planet.

2. Keith says he's tired of "politics." At least on his Blog..
what I saw of his show last night says it applies to everything. :eyes:

No harm in sending it...but I think "GE" has set Keith straight about "priorites." And, he does have a nice wardrobe...and as he said on his Blog..it's tiresome getting e-mails from folks who just don't get it.

3. It's not even so much the direct contradictions
Edited on Wed Feb-23-05 09:44 PM by Tactical Progressive
that our right-wing press hypocrites get caught in. Good job uncovering this one, btw. I hope you get some play on it.

The direct, blatant contradictions are just the part of the iceberg that you see above the waterline. It's all the less direct, more amorphous contradictions that have no quotable proof for them that show the news media for what it has become.

Like holding a ten-year old, trivial Clinton Whitewater land deal to six years of scrutiny, while having absolutely no interest in the multitude of Bush business illegalities being held to any kind of account.

Like holding the Clintons in Constitutional contempt for lying about a private indescretion, while sneering at any attempt to even question the unending stream of BushCo's major lies and frauds in the performance of their sworn duty to America.

And so much more that we are all familiar with.

America's press are whores and hypocrites on every level, and I'm sure when confronted with this particular hypocrisy, Howie the Whore would see it as a single mis-speak, instead of one blatant instance of what is an entirely dishonest mindset and unethical performance of their profession.
