1. When I heard him say that yesterday...
particularly, how quickly he threw in the "options" part, I could not help but wonder, why anyone would ever trust this idiot.

4. Not the red states falt.
They didn't vote for him.

THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT VOTED FOR BUSH ARE THE PEOPLE IN CONTROL OF THE CENTRAL TABULATORS.

Thease Machines, thease touch screens, Butter fly ballots, catapillar ballots, Chads, It's all just bull shit. It's a shell game desighned to confuse the people into thinking that they voted when in reality, they don't even bother to count our votes at all.

5. It was Mainz, Germany...
... rather than Minsk, but you're right--exactly the same routine. The Mainz residents were told to stay inside, and preferably keep their curtains closed--"to avoid any misunderstandings"--as the police bulletins said. It's a far cry from Clinton out jogging in the morning in Berlin, with just a couple of secret service agents as escort.

n/t

This boy/mannon-human, is not from Texas. He was delivered to us by the East Coast Elite. ie. the Bush/Prescott family, you remember them don't you? They supported the Nazi/Hitler machine. Then Daddy went on to who knows what. Most importantly, he ran the CIA. He still does and in my very Humble Opinion is running everything to this day.

Jr. is nothing but a prop that they roll out when needed to cover what they are actually doing. Making lots of money off of perpetual war and the desire for global domination, along with the support of the idiot right wing Christian, evangelicals

Bring it on, the poor, the middle class, we will all suffer and die while these guys thrive.

3. George Bush and the Rise of Christian Fascism
by Rev. Rich Lang
(Pastor, Trinity United Methodist Church, Seattle, WA)

(revised June 2004)

Excerpt from Rev. Lang's essay.....

The Imperial Presidency

Picture the scene: The Apostolic Congress, which defines themselves as, "The Christian Voice in the Nation's Capital", are sitting in a meeting with National Security Council's Near East and North African Affairs director Elliott Abrams. Abrams is working hard to reassure this small "interest group" that this administration's foreign policy concerning Israel won't contradict or oppose God's plan for Israel. Abrams reassures the Apostolic Congress that their understanding of Biblical prophecy is "in sync' with Bush Administration policy.

Picture the larger scene: Not only was Abrams at the meeting but so was James Wilkerson the Deputy National Security Advisor for Communications. As was Tim Goeglein, Deputy Director of Public Liaison. As was Matt Schlapp, White House Political Director and Karl Rove's chief lieutenant. As was Kristen Silverberg, Deputy assistant to the President for National Policy. High powered White House staffers meeting with the Apostolic Congress: a group of hard core Christians who believe that "this generation" will see the end of the world and the return of Jesus. Although this group is small it is, nevertheless, important. For it is Christians like these who are the foot soldiers that are currently destroying democracy and freedom both in our nation, and around the world.

13. Welcome, Sapphire Blue
Excellent post. When you can post on your own, please do so with this essay. There are a lot of Christians and non-Christians here who need to read the words of religious leaders AGAINST *.

Welcome to DU! :headbang:

6. Well, let's apply the acid test with the 14 traits of fascism....
<snip>

In "Fascism Anyone?," Laurence Britt identifies 14 characteristics common to fascist regimes. His comparisons of Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Suharto, and Pinochet yielded this list of 14 "identifying characteristics of fascism."

9. You caught that too, huh, Mo?
Wonder how many of the Sheeple are telling their co-workers "But the President SAID we weren't going to attack Iran! Why do you hate Murka so much?"

"The notion that I'm planning to have sex with you tonight is simply ridiculous. Having said that, see the rubbers and K-Y jelly on my nightstand?"

15. I know that quote is the epitome
Edited on Thu Feb-24-05 03:08 PM by Generator
of what a prick Bush is!

In other words, "Don't you be telling me what I'm going to do-I'm not going to do that, unless I feel like it, so there."

Why doesn't he just stick out his tongue and moon the world while he's at it?

He's little emperor that does whatever he wants. That's exactly what that statement says.

I'm guessing that the people there didn't quite believe the first part of the statement. Either that or they all think Dubya is a joke. Or both.

17. 'Fascists is simply Ridiculous', therefore it is imperative...
That we immediately take preemptive action to avoid such a threat to the United States and our friends around the World. It will be hard work and the cost will be extraordinary, but freedom will prevail at any cost and freedom is on the march for our democracy.

We will need immediate legislation on an Anti-Fascist Act to protect and defend the United States from the evildoer fascists within. We will need to authorize preemptive strikes against those, who want to attack us for our freedom and institute their evil fascism. In the meantime, I ask that all citizenry keep a visual eye open and turn in all evildoer fascists to the local, state, and federal law enforcement.

Together we can build a New American Century to ensure freedom and justice around the World. The fascists who have brought down this country, will hear all of you soon.

Democracy for America!
