Limbaugh brought his Democrat-bashing to U.S. troops in Afghanistan
http://mediamatters.org/items/200502230009

I want someone in the Senate to SHUT IT DOWN until this lying, piece of crap, drug addicted, anal cyst, combat avoiding, yellow bellied chicken-sh$% is removed from AFRTS, and any money spent for this trip is returned to the American taxpayer.

"on the February 22 edition of The Rush Limbaugh Show, Limbaugh noted that he told the troops he wouldn't "go politically correct on them" by hiding liberals' "opposition" to the troops and their mission:

LIMBAUGH: And, by the way, folks, if you're wondering, I didn't go politically correct on them. I told them exactly who's saying what about them in an opposition fashion. I told them what I think is the sort of phony-baloney, plastic-banana, good-time rock 'n' roller of some members of the American left saying they support the troops but they don't support their mission --"

"LIMBAUGH: And I said, "There are a lot of people in America who don't trust free people to do the right thing. I won't mention a political party -- you all know it -- and I won't mention the ideology -- you all know it." (Is he talking about the * misadministration here?)

Seriously, NOT ONE SINGLE THING SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE FLOOR OF THE SENATE WITHOUT SOMEONE FILLIBUSTERING IT UNTIL THIS PROPAGANDA IS STOPPED!

Calling Doctor Dean!!?? Can you get the DEMS to have a spine for once?

Wanted to link to the Media Matters Story anyway.

And if it is a Dupe, so what? The blatant propaganda of this idiot, the fact that he is being "fed" to the U.S military via your and my tax dollars (did I mention that I happen to be a troop?) 21 year Navy man. We should post this 'til something gets done. This should be plastered like post-it notes on a refrigerator.

So basically, my tax dollars are paying for this piece of crap to come over an tell me that "I hate Amurika", "I support the terrorist", "I hope more of our troops get killed".

Sorry, but as someone who proudly serves my country, I want to scream it from the mountaintops. I want to post it a thousand times. I want my representatives and Senators to DO SOMETHING!!

FYI-I've written twice to my state's Senators; Senator Voinovich (R) and Senator Dewine (R), OH...

Funny, for how much they claim to support the troops, I HAVE NOT EVEN GOTTEN A STUPID FORM LETTER FROM EITHER.

Yeah, they support the troops.

11. Yeah, I suppose I should be outraged.
It's been a weird week.

Still not sure what to make of the immortal HST suddenly turning very mortal.

There's other stuff as well, but the basic gist is that I'm in a contemplative mood that doesn't lend itself well to anger and outrage.

Plaster away.

having his flesh torn off piece by piece and salt poured in every wound is not enough punishment for this fucking son of a bitch. I blame him for dumbing down America and putting us on the road towards facism. He wants to justify torture? May he experience it first hand. God, how I hate this morally decrepit piece of shit.

Whores (both literally and figuratively) in the Press Corps, and not one single drop of outrage from what is supposed to be the "opposition" party. Fat boy drug addled wing-nut spewing hate to the troops with our tax money, and NOT ONE SINGLE DROP OF OUTRAGE from the "opposition" party.

This country is dead! What the hell happens when these well armed, propaganda filled troops come back and meet a democrat on the street?

If this A$$-pickle gets away with this trip to speak to the troops, then the next logical step is for the "Committee on Un-American Activities" to gear up for the hearings on anyone that speaks out against this regime.

9. I will not support another democrat until this is addressed
This IMHO is one of our most urgent pressing issues and it has been ignored completely by the democrats in power. Rush must be forced off armed forces radio. The military is not a political tool and should not be politicized for any side. Rush is all politics all the time. Get him off and in jail where he belongs.

10. I agree- AFR is no place for Rush
Edited on Thu Feb-24-05 09:58 AM by NYYFan
Someone needs to get the ball rolling.

on edit: I will still support Democrats, what I mean is that someone needs to step up and say it- GET RUSH OF AFR. He's not helping the troops.

I'll contact my reps- but most of them are Republican. I do have 1 congresman I can call- Mel Watt.

12. Wow!
I hear you. But the suggestions I'm reading are going to be virtually impossible. Our Democrats have hardly any power, and what little we do have is splintered into a million pieces.

I see the sun setting. I've always wondered what it would look like to stare death in the face.
