Ok, I just have to ask this..........Anyone think Bush is gay?

Look at the way he stands and walks, (NO Offense to Gays) but he just looks so manly fake.(Can't think of a better description). Think back to what he's said to men, the weird way he's had his hands on them. When you start grouping all this together it really makes you wonder.

Go to Yahoo and check out the news pictures of the way he smiles at Pooty-poot. It's kinda creepy.

Bush prefers Martin spokesman to his own

Ottawa — This is the tale of the two Scotts — one American, the other Canadian. One is dark-haired, the other blond. Both are 35 and both work for the most powerful men in their respective countries.

Scott McClellan is the press secretary to U.S. President George W. Bush; Scott Reid is the senior strategist to Prime Minister Paul Martin.

But, according to Mr. Bush, Mr. Martin has the prettier Scott.

Indeed. Welcome to a new era of “pretty face” Canada-U.S. relations.

This is what happened:


Mr. Bush met Mr. Reid earlier this week at the summit in Monterrey, Mexico, just after the President's breakfast with Mr. Martin.


Mr. Reid was not initially in the hotel room where the two leaders and their closest advisers met, but was called in to brief the Prime Minister at the end as the group waited for the media.


Mr. Bush wandered over during Mr. Reid's chat with the Prime Minister. Mr. Reid introduced himself and shook hands with Mr. Bush.


“Well, what do you do for this guy?” the President asked as he pointed to the Prime Minister.


“Well, you know, sir, I can't really say,” Mr. Reid said. “It's not that I don't want to. It's just that, you know, I don't really know from day to day.”


This is true. Mr. Reid handles a number of files and performs a number of different duties, depending on the issue and the day.


The President chuckled. “Well, you got a pretty face,” he told the surprised Mr. Reid. He wasn't done. “You got a pretty face,” he said again. “You're a good-looking guy. Better looking than my Scott anyway.”


This is true. His Scott has a receding hairline and is on the chubby side, while Mr. Martin's Scott has a full head of hair and is quite fit.


For the first time in his life, Mr. Reid had no reply. “I didn't know what to say,” said Mr. Reid, noting later that he wished that Mr. Bush had referred to him as a “rugged-looking young man or something.


“But I'll take what I can, I guess,” he joked. “When a Texas Republican says you've got a pretty face, then I guess there is just no way around it

Most reasonablly intelligent people can identify bias in statements such as "fake manly" and the undercurrent of homophobia in hysterical lists that are supposedly characteristics of Gays.

If I, a gay person, want to speculate that I know a closet-case when I see one, and I have real life experience to back that up, and I post that there is tacit agreement in the gay community and much of the straight community that the more macho one tries to be the more latent one is beyond a certain point, and I as a recovering addict and alcoholic with 13 years of clean time want to interject that so many addict and alcoholics have sexual identity issues and many kill themselves over it, and I have personally known and lost some of the carnage, then I'll be damned if anyone is gonna stop me?

this had nothing to do with gays, I was simply trying to say that Bush just acts so FAKE. Everything he does in front of the camera is staged, he tries to act like a tough man but he really comes off as a wimp. My wording is wrong and I'm sorry! Think about good friends or relatives who are straight. I've noticed for years that when they hug each other or the slaps on the back, etc., seem much more relaxed, open and honest. Homophobes or those who are portraying homophobes while feeling something else seem much more staged and self-conscious about their contact. Bush's** has always looked staged and fake to me. Remember when the wingnuts were having a fit about Kerry and Edwards touching each other? Remember later when it was flying around about how those dem men were touching each other? Drudge and others were harping on this. Do you remember how free and relaxed their behavior was?

Has anyone heard him do press conferences with other world leaders in the last two days?

I'm not going to take offense at using this tactic to bring down the most vile administration I've seen in my lifetime.

I have friends and family members that have been victims of social violence to due homophobia.

It may not bother you, but these witch hunts and stereotypes are not healthy. Sorry.

This is not just about Gays who are willing to take a hit, it's about social violence and the world our loved ones and children occupy.

I'm sorry, but bringing this into a primarily hetero setting is not productive.

BTW, there are open Gays who are homophobic too.

The kissing and stuff seems so completely "masculine" the way he does it. (That doesn't mean it's not odd, though.) The "pretty face" remark, again, seems sort of awkward and artless to me, rather than "gay", whatever that would mean.

I think it's another sign he's in his own little world.
