The great OP ED pages
Sometimes the Yahoo headlines grab you and you just got to read. The low lights of the deeply sick (really has someone gotten her some medical help)

DEBORAH ORIN

FUNNY how Democrats seem to be struck dumb by the success of President Bush's trip to Europe.

-Quick name the success of Bushes European trip? I guess the fact that everyone agrees that it would be nice if Iran had no nukes… except no plans to insure this were agreed upon. No help in Iraq (The Ukraine just agreed to remove it's troops), no coherent policy on the enviroment and no agreement on CO2 emission. So once again what success. What did Deborah think the European leaders were going to defecate on him and the fact they did't deemed a success?

Dems such as Sen. John Kerry predicted Iraq's election would be a disaster. Instead, it was a triumph and sparked a yearning for freedom elsewhere in the Mideast.

-What success? Some of the people in Iraq that could vote, did vote. Was that a shock? Has violence in the region decreased. Has a pro-American government been put in place? Are our troops coming home? Are the chances of a less abusive society than Saddams been assured? No. Some success.

Dems blamed Bush for the lack of progress toward Israeli-Palestinian peace, but it now seems that Bush's strategy was right: wait until Yasser Arafat was gone and let Israel build its wall.

-So Bush is given credit for having Arafat die? That was great Bush management. Wait and hope the problem goes away? A separatist wall is the solution. Tell that to Ronald Reagan. By the way when was "wait for Arafat to die" Bushes official policy... Oh never.

Now those allies, notably France and Germany, are eager to snuggle up to Bush.

-I guess with Gannon gone from the White House Bush needs more Snuggling.

We Democrats have neither a coherent critique of Bush's foreign policy nor a foreign policy of our own," said a veteran Democratic operative.

-Quick name the Coherent Bush policy. How can you critique something that doesn’t exist? The major critique is Bush has no coherent policies.
