Drudge mocking Olbermann/Gannon
On the Drudge Report it has the cable news ratings with keith at the bottom. It says this:

MNSBC OLBERMANN/GANNON 208,000

does that have anything to do with his coverage of Gannon? Is he mocking Keith?

6. yeah your right
like instead of hearing how America has become a debtor nation we can hear how those rascally liberals are trying to steal christmas, the holiday when Jesus told us to go to the malls and shop.

9. He really doesn't
he gets a relatively large share of the relatively small share that watches cable news. I would attribute this to the fact of the tiny sliver of America that watches cable news, a large percentage are right wing cranks who watch nothing but Fox. But he gets what, 2 million viewers? whereas American Idol or CSI or other top rated shows have well over 20 million viewers. Even on cable, pro rasslin' routinely gets double what O'Reilly pulls in.

11. It's pointless.
Olbermann should do what Comedy Central did when O'Really put down TDS's audience. THey did a study which showed Stewart's audience were far more educated than O'Really's.

I bet Olbermann would find the same thing. Countdown viewers are likely to be more educated, waelthier and more informed on current events. In other words, 1 Countdown viewer should be worth at least 10 O'Really viewers to an advertiser.

12. Drudge is about as creditable as Gannon, the only reason
he never got a White House press pass is because he looks like a halfwit, a dimwit or nitwit 99.9% of the time. When one ask Drudge his name he is usually stumped for an answer.

14. At the height of the Gannon story, it was NOWHERE on Drudge...
Gee, wonder why it wasn't deemed "newsworthy" my Matt? :grr:

Drudge also has a cable-ratings fixation, among other things. He's always tossing those numbers around as if they really meant something.

What a hack. :puke:
