if you understand that, then you understand that Jeffy knows a lot more than simply the name of Valerie Plame. He was privy to a lot of info., such as how Karl hacked the computers this past election.

7. Because Karl is the person who perpetrated it...and if Karl was the one
who had sex with Guckert, then he told him. I don't think we're talking about a one-shot pay-off--they had sex for quite some time. When two people are in such an intimate relationship, you tell secrets--it's called Pillow Talk.

15. A lot of assumptions here.
I think we agree and are starting from the position that JimmyJeff was a prostitute that had some sort of in to get into the WH press pool.

I think you're saying that because of this, he was having sex with someone at the WH, therefore it was Rove and for a long time, therefore Rove told him all sorts of secrets.

I agree that JJGG is a twit, but the rest of this seems like a lot of assumptions.

23. Assumptions, perhaps, but logical ones..I don't know if it was Rove,
but it sure as hell was someone. How else did this guy get connections? It wasn't like he was a writer, or even somebody who was big in Repuke party politics. he was a prostitute--that's how he made his money, and that's how he met people. He did not travel in the circles that the people in power travel--his initial contact with the White House had to be for sex.

I'm not sure who it was but it was someone. It doesn't make sense how he got there with all his background (tax problems and the prostetution). Also the fake news organization etc and palagrasim. So much wrong going on there and he still got in. Don't forget about the Iraq specifications he knew. :shrug: Are they still doing investigations on him? Any news on that?

up and blab all sorts of stuff to them. I mean, Gannon knew about Plame, and he knew about Rather-gate--he's the one who broke it...what else does he know about? The stealing of the 2004 election?

He really wouldn't have needed to waste his time on GOPUSA officials--they can only act through intermediaries.

A White House official could open doors for the proper inducement, though, but it would have had to have been someone fairly high-ranking--someone at least at McClellan's level. My bet is it was Rove.

It will be interesting to see if there was blackmail or just media manipulation/propaganda involved. I checked his official website today and don't get WTF he is doing other than trying to increase his 15 minutes of fame by shouting "Look at me, they wrote about me here and here and here! Look look look!" This makes me wonder about his ego and intellegence and wonder if there was blackmail happening, either by him or against him, to keep him quiet so long. I dunno.

16. They could have gotten someone with journalism experience
to smear Democrats in the leadup to questions, if that was the whole idea.

I think that James Guckert got that job because of someone he had sex with.

24. Yup--this guy was not a writer, not a GOP operative...he DID NOT travel
within the circles of power in Washington...someone had to have met him through sex.

Who that is I'd love to know, but I don't see how anyone can assume Gannon made his connections any other way.
