His radio show is on here in Florida in the morning (instead of Air America) and it's pretty good.

10. the man is dirt incarnate.
The fact that he has a radio show espousing liberal issues is nothing short of an embarrassment in my view.

Watch his television show. It matters how people make a living...and it matters even more if they get filthy rich at it. Just because he says some things I agree with does not excuse decades of blatant exploitation of the poorest, least educated in our society for profit and entertainment.

81. Ask that to a mother who can't afford healthcare for her kids...
Ask that to the guy who just had his job outsourced to Singapore. Ask that to the family that can't figure out how to pay for their kids' college education. Ask that to the elderly who can't pay for both their rent and their prescription drugs.

The point is that we win. Fuck the high road. The stakes are too high.

66. You can find Peter Werbe on Sunday night in Detroit.
He hosts a 3hr broadcast called NightCall which starts at 10PM Central.

You can listen live over the net:

http://www.peterwerbe.com/ontheair.html

or download archived shows at White Rose:

http://www.whiterosesociety.org/

Peter Werbe would be an excellent addition to AAR.

right after some Texas vote(I think it was to make anal sex illegal) she saw the two sponsors of the bill shaking hands and she said "Well I guess thats the only time you'll ever see a dick touch an asshole in this state!" (sorry bout the language but thats a direct quote :D )

She deserves a nationally syndicated show. She's a radio pro, she's quite liberal, she's funny, she's entertaining. AAR should prolly get rod of one of the morning shows and put on Stgephanie instead. She's fantastic (and she's on too early for me to listen to her stream in L.A.).

56. Still...
...I never held him on the radio and maybe your right, but going by what I see now, if Colmes is specifically getting paid in his contract to be second fiddle to Hannity and thus agreeable and weak, that makes it ever more pitiful.

I find it telling too that he claims to be a "moderate". Which by what have seen, is what some alleged Left politicians (such as Hillary Clinton) say when they're trying to appeal to the Right and avoid getting being tagged a liberal.

WLS would often preempt them with someone more "suitable" if something big and incendiary happened in the news. Brushes with cognitive dissonance apparently make for a lot of phone calls from aggravated dittoheads on Monday mornings.

70. Love Joe Conason!
Joe is an ace "journalist" (one of the few left...), and was very good when he filled in for Franken... he was droll, witty, and informed.

Stephanie Miller is a close second for me, as I believe that part of Bill Maher's comedy comes from physical "double-takes" that have to be seen to be funny.
