Okay, if you feared being suicided, what would you do to send a clue?
Morning Coffee with the tin foil hatters:

Just read the latest Hunter Thompson conspiracy theory. Apparently, someone claims he called before he offed himself and said that he had information that the WTC was exploded from within and that he feared he would be suicided. Now, I have my doubts for many reasons, but that's not what this thread is about. What I wanted to post are sure ways to leave behind some clue that you were suicided by others. Please add to the list below:

What to do:

(1) Set up video and audio recordings around your house and have them feed somewhere safe where the forensics team can't find them and at least three friends do.

(2) If you are faced with an attack, be sure to draw blood so you can leave some of your killer's dna behind.

(3) Modify your PDA/cell phone so it can send a quick signal to various sources that says, "Help, I'm being offed!" and take a quick photo of the perpetrator with your cell phone & set it up so it will automatically spam the internet. Just to be a little intimidating, make a photo journal of everyone who comes into your house, and let them know that their picture was taken as they entered the premises.

(4) Don't stop for anyone on dark streets. Don't agree to meet anyone in an isolated area.

(5) Get to know who you can and cannot trust in the police department. If you don't trust your local police department, move to a place where you'll find friendlies.

(6) Don't call a friend and say you suspect you're going to be offed, without giving that friend some hard evidence. Especially if you suffer from debilitating diseases or injuries.

Oh, I can come up with more, but they progressively get nuttier, if that's at all possible.

1. Send a letter to a few major dailies, immediately
Make sure they aren't Tribune Media Services, or any of the other Republican-shill publications. But get it out there. You may be called crazy, but you'll be ALIVE, and if you DO get bumped, at least you'll be vindicated in death.

2. I sometimes wonder if Gannon's very loud protests are his
way of making sure people will ask questions if he suddenly parts this world.

3. In the Movie "Safe House"
Patrick Stewart (of Star Trek fame) plays a man who has evidence implicating a very high-level government political candidate and military dude in some very serious shit. Certain that his life is in danger, he gathers all the evidence on a computer system that is set up to blast all the evidence to every major news outlet. The only way to prevent that from happening is for him to come in every day and enter his password. If he gets offed, he won't be there to enter his password, and the email goes out, exposing the dude.

4. I have my doubts about some of your suggestions...
because the "clean-up" team would erase evidence such as blood etc. Also 'offing' people tends to be done via accidents or something less easy to detect.

If they want to 'git' you, they're gonna do it.

The thing to do (in my opinion) is to take any documents and evidence you have and seal them in a concrete block in a friend's back yard. Then have the block dug up and opened as a request in your will, which should make sure there are witnesses to what you're doing.

I did hear Hunter Thompson in an old interview (one or 2 years ago) with Amy Goodman where he specifically mentioned the strange habit of people who opposed the Bush junta being found dead of apparent suicides, and saying something to the effect of "I'd better watch out".

6. You must admit,
If Hunter had this much fore-knowledge, why he didn't prepare better than to make a phone call the day before it happens.

10. I can understand it.
Assuming he was "offed" by someone else, I could fully understand him saying to himself that he was just being paranoid. After all, I'm sure he could have named a hundred people who in his own mind were more worthy of assassination.

I guess professional killers know how to catch you unawares...

9. You've got to render your death valueless, namely by outing
whatever information you have in such a way that it will be too late to be "suicided". They would never do it just because they are angry. They only do it for future political advantage, i.e. the Kennedy brothers, M.L.King, Wellstone, and numerous other political threats.

7. All Good Suggestions
but concerning HST...I read the article to which you refer, but the author was suggesting that the scenario described *should have been* how Dr. Gonzo left this world - not what actually happened. He was implying that it would have been more in keeping with Thompson's style to have been uncovering a huge conspiracy theory and getting 'suicided.' I had to reread it carefully myself, just to make sure the author wasn't suggesting any truth to the scenario he created as a literary device.

8. Once you have released corroborating physical evidence
to numerous public information outlets, the chances of your being
"suicided" will have been greatly diminished as there is no gain in it. That is the key to the "suicide" or "Wellstone" dilemma.

11. I'm pretty sure my dogs are planning something
It's the Chihuahua that's the ringleader, I think -- the Husky and the mutt we got from the pound are just following her lead. They're pissed because I'm stingy with the Milkbones and the liver treats. Every night they lurk under the dinner table -- my husband and kids think it's cute, but I don't like the look in their eyes (the Chihuahua especially). Lately I've noticed a pattern of coordinated behavior: All three of them surrepticiously crept up behind me last night while I was stacking the dishwasher and I almost tripped and fell over them and cracked my head open -- I think they were hoping food scraps would fall from the plates. I have implemented suggestions 1-6 to guard myself. In case anything happens to me, please notify the authorities: Their names are Squeaky, Mookie, and Koda.

12. You got to watch those dogs. They get some crazy ideas .
Like my dog still thinks I'm holding out on him and hiding milk bones in my crotch.
