I turned off the TV.

started his monologue joking about a media blackout and that he's not allowed to say much. I almost jumped for joy thinking he was talking about Bushco's control over the media. Yet, Leno clarified his statement a moment later. He was actually talking about the Michael Jackson trial!

I missed KO earlier. This is so laughable. All the networks are covering it.

I always try to catch the replay since my son is still up and talking to me when KO comes on the first time. I get to see the show, but sometimes I miss the finer points.

I know it shouldn't surprise me.

I mean, look - I fully realize that the corporate media has been hijacked by bullshit empty calorie sensationalistic celebrity stalking crap. But when they take away one of the precious FEW voices that actually gives a version (and not a perversion) of the truth on the TV (I'm talking about Keith here)... I'm SO furious!

A heated argument about MArtha's guilt - why not a heated argument about Gannon, or Plame, or election fraud?!

I have yet to see such a clear illustration of the failings of the Corporate Media than this moment. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Wouldn't it be a hoot if Martha decided to hang out in the pokey until tomorrow morning, just to fuck with them? How long do you think those morAns will stand around in the snow, waiting for the Big Moment? All night? Cheez!

You know I have to give Faux credit - they're showing a split screen with the entrance in the shot, but they're staying with Brit Hume's show for now.

The least they could do is discuss Martha, Martha, Martha in context of how she was royally screwed while Ken Lay and others are walking around merrily without a care in the world.

The coverage of this last night was absurd and revolting and at times misongynistic. Dan Abrams is/has become a buffoon.
