Malloy just smacked down another freeper liar
Edited on Fri Mar-04-05 12:38 AM by xray s
Gawd these people have absolutely NO conscience. They lie at will and never stop.

The guy tried to tell Mike that Clinton started the policy of sending prisoners to other countries for torture.

Malloy found the article the guy was talking about and is reading the exact opposite. Clinton's policy was extraditing people convicted of crimes to the countries they committed the crime in. That has evolved into Bush taking people who haven't even been charged of a crime and sending them to countries to be tortured.

Mike has the guy on hold an told him to go find one sentence that backs up his charge.

Thanks Mike! Its like sandbagging the Mississippi River when the floods are breaking. Hard work but somebody has to do it!

1. At least the freeper admits Bush is having people tortured
What's so pathetic is that the freeper agrees with the decision to torture.

11. God, those people are nauseating
Will they ever wake up??? I've never seen such a bunch of weirdos voting against their own self interests in my life!!

:spank:

However, I spoke to a repug the other day and asked him about the SS issue and he said hell no, he doesn't want to lose it!!

So I found that encouraging.

14. Do you have iTunes?
You can get the Mike Malloy show streaming from radiopower.org via iTunes. Maybe it will work with any media player. It worked when I had dial-up because it's 56kps. The Thom Hartmann show is great too:

18. If streaming problems are technical,go to the computer help forum

Listening to AAR in general and Malloy in particular is worth the effort. Or ask in the Lounge. You can look at the radio station listing on the AAR website and see if your locality os covered: http://www.airamericaradio.com/stations.asp

9. They're not all lying...
...a bunch of them believe this shit. It takes the confidence of belief to sway the opinions they've racked up despite all evidence to the contrary. That, and an ignorant, distracted public.

The freep must have been a professional because he was very good at directing his implications without being specific. (ex. the 90's instead of Clinton.) But when questioned and even given the opportunity to find the statement in that article that he based his entire case on, he could not find it. And he still could not defend his argument.

That's either blind faith or he's more likely being paid to call-in and dissemble.
