2. Isn't MBNA the biggest donor of all, for all categories?

3. Capital One is very Republican and the crappiest of them all.
I will never get a card through them.

4. My best friends husband was just severenced after 6 yrs with them
He's a FOX watching Repubican Ayn Rand fan - (but did vote for Mark Warner) - nice and smart in a narrow not all seeing way.

Another old friend and her husband both work for Cap One for many years - they are both yellow dog Dems.

Anyway - my impression is they work their people to the bone - but they pay well - so employees stick around because it's hard to find a better paying job in the Richmond area.

Also - they expanded their management quickly (and at high pay) in the 90's and now they are cutting back on higher paid empoyees and eliminating departments and projects.

5. Dems cut their own throats while selling out their constituents
that's what makes their votes on this bill even more appalling.

It's not enough to betray your natural supporters and cause them further suffering- these Dems have to pad the pockets of the opposition at the same time!

and they wonder why they're the minority party!
