Martha Stewart is using the press better then the Bush administration

First let me say that I don't hate Martha Stewart. I don't think she should have been in jail in the first place, but that's beside the point.

My point is that Martha wants to remake her image and rebuild her company and that's what she should be doing. But why is the media giving her free publicity to do this? Martha and her company have more then enough money to mount an ad and PR campaign. If you watch and read the coverage you can't help but get the feeling that all the feel good stories about Martha are exactly what she wants and the media seems to acknowledge this and still happily obliges her.

I'm not saying in way that Martha getting going to and getting out of prison are not stories that should be covered, but my god watching smiling talking heads just gush over her and putting cameras through the front windows of her house is a bit over the top.
