Colleges & Universities - how do conservatives reconcile...
I want to know how conservatives reconcile this seeming contradiction in their logic:

1) American colleges & universities are bastions of liberalism & elitism

2) The world-renowned quality of our top colleges & universities is because we can choose which college we can go to, and therefore that justifies school choice.

Now, how do RWers reconcile the fact that colleges & universities are bastions of liberal elitism, but also of great quality?

1. Never, and I repeat, never,
ask for a logical explanation for any conjob point of view. There never is one.

Facts are irrelevant.

2. There are still a few bugs in the system
"But once the new Accuracy in Academia Act is past, mandating professers adhere to certain "standards" of behaivor, such contradictions will be a thing of the past. As will most liberal professers."

3. Umm, because they're morons...
...incapable of thinking beyond exactly what is told to them by Rush "Hillbilly Heroin" Limbaugh, Dan Coulter, Mark "Franken" Steyn (only not as bright and lifelike) and the rest of their fellow Kool-Aid slurpers. I've had this discussion with an acquaintance in Arizona, the gist of which is "How did GW avoid the indoctrination inflicted on virtually everyone else at those bastions of eastern liberalism and elitism, Yale and Harvard, because he was of higher character? While he was a booze-guzzling, coke-sniffin', premarital sex-havin' cheerleader?" Puuuuuhleaze! The response I get on this line of questioning is along the lines of "Umm...uh...well...."

5. Bush avoided the Eastern Elitist Liberalism
Because he has such great moral fiber and intellect. :-) and he was from the Texas area of Connecticut.

6. Yes,...
...actually, I think Midland was redistricted to Connecticut by DeLay and his Texass rethugs.
