Liz Winstead and Air America...
"Does anyone know what happened and why she is no longer with Unfiltered? I haven't listened to them for a while, and was wondering if anyone has the inside scoop... "

Thanks! :)

And she is no longer on the Unfiltered website too... :(

I posted this in the Lounge but no one seems to have an answer there. So ,I am trying my luck here.

2. Yesterday Rachel Maddow said she's gone
Didn't say why but it doesn't sound voluntary. I love Lizz.:-(

3. I was concerned too...
... I've been reading about the new AAR CEO.

Artemis CEO Leaves Label
Artemis Records chairman and CEO Danny Goldberg is leaving the label he founded in 1999 due to "philosophical differences" with its owners, Joe Bianco and Anil Narang, who took control of the label in August 2003 after its original financers backed away. Artemis president Daniel Glass will take over as president/CEO of the label and Goldberg will continue to serve as a consultant. (2/3)

It would also seem he's no big supporter of the RIAA (Something I
was worried about.) It looks like they've got a good CEO.

No word on Liz though... Maybe she's got a new gig though.

I'll keep listening to Rachel.

4. They are still not telling--and that is making lots of people angry.
But, she is indeed gone from the show. A long time blogger there says he communicated with Lizz and she is fine--but won't tell what happened. The rest is still speculation, and for me, disappointment. (BTW, there was a thread here on this yesterday.)

5. No Doubt She Signed A Release
saying she wouldn't discuss the terms of her leaving. I'm a big fan of Lizz and this just sucks.

In broadcasting, once they make a decission...it's a done deal. Doesn't matter what listeners think or want.

I'm bound to never discuss my lawsuit with Clear Channel - had to swear it in front of the "judge".

6. Damn. Lizz is some kind of funny.

And I always thought she and Rachel had a great repartee. :(

What are they going to do now? Chuck D is quite honestly not around all that much. IMO Lizz and Rachel pretty much carried the show.

7. Wasn't Lizz more than just a host?
I thought Lizz at one point was partly involved in some bigger company decisions, possibly programming? I like Rachael, but I'm not terribly interested in listening to that show without Lizz. I really like the short spots by A. Whitney Brown and others, which I would tend to think Lizz was partially responsible for, and hope that those types of things(as well as kent jones and ambrosia don't vanish.)

Maybe Lizz could go out and get her own syndicated show. That way she would probably wind up on more AAR affiliates than Unfiltered.
