The once great Philadelphia Inquirer ran the 1500 dead GI's
in Iraq story on page A8. What page did the story show up in your local paper?

1. Page One of the
Times Picayune of New Orleans and Page One of the Sun Herald of Gulfport, Biloxi Mississippi. The T-P did a very nice job with the story scrolling down the left side of the front page. It included a graph of deaths per month. Also on the front page was a picture of the flag draped coffin of a Louisiana Soldier killed in Iraq being carried by military pall bearers.

4. 1502 military deaths for bush's war is unacceptable!!
Where is the outrage in this country? Are we going to wait until the number of deaths reaches the numbers that we had in Vietnam? No wonder this administration doesn't want pictures of flag draped returning caskets to be shown. Their attitude is "out of sight out of mind." When are we Americans going to take to the streets in protest of this assinine war? That's what finally got us out of Vietnam.

3. Amazingly, A-1 of the Kansas City Star
They even prominently denoted the "end of major combat operations way, way over on the left side of their graphic.

Still in shock.
