Are there really folks here at DU who are shocked by Gannon/Guckert, or Armstrong Williams? Payola has always been the name of the game for criminal behavior. So what else should we pretend we didn't see coming?

- The rise and dominance of the Religious Right?
- Oil execs starting an Oil War?
- The sacking of Medicare and S.S.?
- Media going Facsist?
- The use of torture on innocents?

By the time we show outrage, the bad guys are years ahead, plotting the next blood curdling scheme.

The people who hold office may as well be the CEO's of the corporate takeover of Washington. These fakes campaign like they love America more than their own Mothers, then kick her in the groin the day after the election.

I'm prepared for the worst imaginable, because that's what I expect from conservatives.

I'm not shocked at what they pull, and will continue to show outrage. How to prepare for their shenanigans is the question (shenanigans being a polite euphamism for an impolite term).
