Finally! My mom sees the true colors of MSM!

My grandfather lent her Al Franken's book "Lies" and she read the chapter on Paul Wellstone (pretty much aloud to me but with good results) and announced that she will never watch CNN again!!!!

She's quite ticked that Judy Woodruff and Jeff Greenfield picked up on the RW talking points about the memorial service without having watched it.

All I have to do now is get her to go online and read the news here and at other good places! She claims she doesn't know what she'll do now. She won't watch FAUX and the CSPAN callers drive her nuts. We'll see...

All I can say is FINALLY!!!

It works both ways; however, both of my daughters are willing to listen to me periodically in brief bursts.

While we do watch CNN, I'm a Lou Dobbs fan, we recognize that "Daybreak" and "Early Morning" is news-lite and watch it more due to the hour (at 2-4 a.m. in Alaska) there isn't a whole lot of anything interesting to watch on TV. We're into triple reruns on THC and SciChan.
