ARGH! Where's that damn 60-day, 60-city schedule?
I've checked at GOP, WhiteHouse, Freeperland, etc. Why are they keeping this a secret?

Oh wait....I already know.

2. Oh yeah. I certainly remember.
And I remember the press duly forgetting to remind dear Mr. President.

5. That dumbass couldn't work 60 consecutive business days
if his life depended on it.

Never has.
Won't start now.
The $ they'd spend on his security alone would probably repay the lockbox.

6. Are you talking about Shrubapalooza?
I think it's just a bluescreen in the WH, with some nifty backgrounds.

7. Well, the protesters arrested might disagree. ;-)
I'd like to protest (and LOUDLY) if I knew where one was that was close by

12. That's a good point!
Hard to imagine they'd hire people to protest!

If he came to my neck of the woods, the protests would be legendary, but I doubt he'd come here...

11. want to play "spot that backdrop"?
The people at www.dubyaspeak.com have made a collection of some of them ... which he frequently re-uses.

8. Something occurred to me this a.m.
Why would Shrub go on a 60 day tour to "persuade the American People" about SS if ALL OF HIS AUDIENCES ARE PRE-SCREENED? What's the point of persuasion if everyone attending has signed a "loyalty oath"? Does that make sense to anybody? WTF is Shrub REALLY up to?

9. Because he'll get tons of press coverage of rallying crowds
The ignorant masses watching the evening news will see throngs of tens of people screaming wildly in support and think, "Hmm...it must be a good idea."

10. Well, FWIW, here's my theory.
Bush is essentially the spokesmodel for this government. He doesn't do any real work. The tour is his opportunity to do the only thing he does moderately well, which is bullshit people (pre-screened, likeminded people, of course). After every three-and-a-half-day work week, he will end up in Crawford or Kennebunkport or Camp David.

Nice work if you can get it.

14. They are saying
60 cities in 60 days. I don't think they mean he will be
holding "town meetings" each of those 60 days. Today,
for example; he was in New Jersey and Indiana.

They have to factor in free days for hangovers.

13. I've said for a couple of years now that all Bush is, is a Wind Up Doll.
They wind him up every morning and send him out to perform, which he does willingly, because he gets Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, anywhere he wants to go.
