"Privatization" ::: A Dirty Word On FauxNews!

Amazing. First "homicide bombers" instead of suicide ones...

Now, the official Reich Wing propaganda machine (i.e. FauxNews) incessantly parrots the Chimp line on SS privatization. Not only have they been hosting a two-day long seminar on the value of the privatization scheme, complete with a steady stream of white house henchmen, but they have also adopted their norwellian-speak language wholesale. If you have the stomach to view the so-called network, you will never ever hear anyone (other than the occasional Dem talking head) mention what the single word that represents the indisputable goal - PRIVATIZATION! Even when the scum-sucking whore anchor (Jim Angle or whatever) quoted verbatim Sen. Schumer's criticism of the scheme, from a sound bite he had just aired, he replaced "PRIVATIZATION" with "PERSONAL ACCOUNTS" .

I know, i know. I shouldn't watch FauxNews anyway ... and i sure as hell shouldn't expect any legit coverage. But holy hell! What a laughing stock shill of a "news" network!

instead. Someone here on DU has a wonderful graphic for that. Yeah, "privatization" sounds too corporate, like companies will be making fees and taking your income (which they will). They are trying to put lipstick on this pig by calling it "personal accounts".

This regime puts Lyndon Johnson to shame for its ability to re-invent and distort reality. Of course the intended purpose is to completely confuse or brainwash minds into submission...to acquiece or even support their corporate raiding and profiteering.

Faux targets the biggest victims of this "privitazation"...25-45 year old males who will see the money they've nutted away given to the large investement houses for some good old Wall Street roulette...Woldcomm anyone? Of course the money doesn't just vanish, it's got some very large pockets to get lost in.

The dittoheads who watch that video sewer deserve to lose everything and pay the full brunt of this regime and it's corrupt, selfish and arrogant ideology.

'Privatization' was the Repubs term, and when that didn't play, they changed it. And CMM, the corporate media monopolies, shifted just as quickly to take up the new Republican language of 'reform' and 'change' and 'personal accounts'.

If Repubs are going to use their own terminology, the Democrats should use their own, correct, representations, not just start using the previous Republican misrepresentation three degrees to the left of the current one.
