The AARP guy (David?) was trying to make the point that Jarvis is a loonie and not worth debating, but Tweety was livid. Damn, it was so patheitic to watch. I was appalled by Chris Matthews interview with the AARP representative toight. It was one of the most bizarre, unprofessional interviews I have ever seen!!!

Matthews kept interrupting the AARP guy and badgering him. At one point Matthews seemed to be saying that AARP wasn't an impartial group because they opposed the Bush administration's Social Security plan! He seemed to be saying that AARP is pro-Democratic and anti-Bush!! Doesn't Matthews remember that the AARP supported President Bush's drug prescription plan???

CHRIS MATTHEWS OWES AARP MEMBERS A BIG APOLOGY FOR NOT LETTING THEIR REPRESENTATIVE SPEAK HIS PIECE. The guy hardly a chance to discuss AARP's position on this issue because Matthews kept behaving oddly and interrupting him -- very rudely I might add.

Just tell MSNBC that you prefer the subtler Keith Olbermann, who possesses a brain and a sense of humor (and proportion), to someone who merely screams at the "guests." I haven't yet figured out just what it is that qualifies Joe Scarborough or Chris Matthews to have an actual TV program. No life is empty enough to spend watching either of those clowns. Complain!

This sounds like the first time you've ever heard Matthews. I stopped watching him months ago. Every now and then he'll pander to the left by trashing some powerless fringe reactionary like Michelle Malkin. But the rest of the time, he's the most disgusting, rude, and ill-informed person in television. I hate Wolf Blitzer for being a corporate-owned whore and I don't watch him anymore either. But at least Blitzer comes off as a civilized person and has manners. Matthews doesn't.
