Are Republicans huge hypocrites for opposing affirmative action?
After all, they're the ones that use it in the worst way. Right now they've given an incredibly incompetant liar and a man who devised a policy of torture high ranking government positions largely based on their race. Not to mention this is the main defense I kept hearing for Rice and Gonzalez, the Democrats can't oppose Rice because she's a black woman and can't oppose Gonzalez because he's a Hispanic. And then there was all of *'s wingnut court nominees, many of whom where minorities and that was basically the only defense I kept hearing for them, those racist Democrats blocking the nominees!

The GOP should never whine about affirmative action, since they're using it to install people who belong nowhere near a position of any power.

1. Not to mention the Iraqi National Assembly
1/4 of the candidates must be women? All ethnic groups to have a part? Jeepers, Mr. Bush, that sounds like....AFFIRMATIVE ACTION!
