The US sure has a lot of "probes" going on for its multitude of screwups
Now it vows to "probe" into the killing of the Italian negotiator and the wounding of the Italian journalist formerly held hostage.

I'd like to probe into the asshole of Richard Meyers in search of a brain cell.

What a fucked up mess the US military has made of EVERYTHING it touches.

1. That's what happens
when you have a failure of leadership. Everything becomes FUBAR.

4. The Italians had lit up the Colosseum to celebrate the journalist's return
Berlussconi was popping champagne corks, and then the US goes and shoots her and kills her negotiator.

That's our Chimpy!

2. They said that the military
was in shambles while Clinton was president, but I've noticed all the fuck ups seem to be happening under Bush. I'm thinking it must be the leadership, or more to the point, the lack of leadership. I wish I still had those bookmarks to the news stories about how Bush made the claim that the military under Clinton was in such a mess, but then when they did a top to bottom review of what the troops needed, shortly after Bush coup d'etat'ed the White House, they said everything was all right.

3. I recall a Marine fighter pilot telling me he had a hole in his flightsuit
Edited on Sat Mar-05-05 06:14 AM by SodoffBush
that was repaired repeatedly because Clinton wouldn't provide money for new uniforms.

I'd rather have a hole in my flightsuit than live with a hole in my brain or eyesocket for the rest of my life.

When it comes to smoozing the military with jingoism and other propaganda devices, the Bushies have played their hand to great effect. They've even got a handful of amputees headed back to Iraq to lead squadrons again, so that "no one has a right to complain." Beautiful, Karl, just beautiful.

5. We've known for months that they are shooting everything in sight.
Those G.I.s need to be pulled out before the damage gets worse.

6. Remember when the US bombed the BBC? "This is just a scene from hell"
You can watch the entire event unfold here. They got it on camera. (see top right videofiles)

8. that the US fucked up
I like the comment made by the Italian journalist's boyfriend:

Sgrena’s boyfriend said he could not blame the U.S. soldiers for the shooting, saying they were probably “scared boys,” and that the real blame lay with those who had sent them to Iraq.

10. The Italians show more compassion and intelligence than most Americans,
Most Americans believe that torturing and bombing people who had done nothing to the US is justified, as long as they get to vote in a trumped up election that will only result in putting Allawi/Chalabi (CIA) in charge, just like before, only more entrenched.

It's difficult to remain patient with such stupid, naive people.
