2. All real Christians are liberal.
Don't believe propaganda that says otherwise.

5. AMEN! and AMEN!
here's the litmus test: ask anyone claiming to be a christian whether its more blessed to be a peacemaker or declare war on infidel muslims.

3. As I've posted here before, they aren't ALL bad.
I have a relative, who is a minister, and Christian Coucelor. He & his wife BOTH are absolutely against abortion, stem cell research, and gay marriage, BUT they are also COMPLETELY against GWB and everyone in his administration!

Their position is no one should ever be a single issue voter. War, capital punishment, and even "faith based funding" all cause far worse problems than the 3 issues I listed above. This guys wife teaches at a christian bible school, but refuses any Fed. funds. I asked why? She said they just don't want Gov't interference.

There really are Christians out there who agree to disagree in some issues, but also see the evil and damage this admin. is reaking!

10. please have them spread the word against single issue voting
I must admit that as an "aging baby boomer" I find it frustrating that so much of the political process is dominated by the abortion,
debate with an aging population in the U.S., haven't we been constantly told that the number of active paying workers of social security is dropping, why does abortion remains as the single issue deciding people votes. I am at the bottom of the baby boom at 51, and I would like a broader more humanitarian government. Of course, I want support for young single women, school lunch programs, help for veterans, support for health care, etc. But it almost seems laughable that with a "graying" population that this remains as the deal breaker issue.

4. excellent piece
Thank you, Dr. Teresa Whitehurst.

Sidebar: Try and find coverage in today's NYTimes online on the Democratic Senators (Kerry, Reid, Clinton, and others) who held a forum on Social Security at Pace University in NYC to counter Bush's "town meeting" in New Jersey.

My Republican in-laws *still* claim the NY Times is a "liberal" paper. Ha!

8. liberal senator forum yesterday
I was flipping channels trying to find a good science/history/crime show and saw CNN covering this.

They made it a point to mention it was SCRIPTED and all the questions were vetted and in my opinion followed the basic structure of ALL OF BUSH's public appearances.

DO THEY EVER DO THE SAME THING WHEN COVERING BUSH???

I never ever ever consume MSM, but this chance happening to witness this was CHILLING!

Could some good investigative people examine this further? Are the media watchdog sites tuned in to this particular piece of MSM bias?

Thanks

11. First place to check
Try http://mediamatters.org/

I couldn't find anything on what you saw, though. Perhaps you can write to them and then they can investigate.
