Bush on democracy...
So this morning I'm listening to NPR and the Chimperor comes on. He's all puffed up to his strident and petulant best. He's railing against the Syrians, insisting that they withdraw their troops from Lebanon. He goes on to assert that democracy cannot take hold in Lebanon while it is occupied by another country.

Help me out here, I'm just a stupid, traitorous librul that always blames America first but, why can't democracy take hold in Lebanon while they are occupied but it can take hold in Iraq while they are occupied?

1. You'd think their brains would short-circuit, wouldn't you?
It staggers the sane mind how these people can spout claims that're 100% contadictory, divorced from any kind of 'reality,' or without logical or moral merit of any kind.

3. ahhhh let me see...oh yes
Lebanon was a democratic country before the start of their civil war and then the invasion of their country by the Israeli gang of thugs to remove the Syrian/Palestinian band of thugs. so the Syrians decided to protect the Lebanese..then the syrians blew up a well respected very well connected saudi and the shit hit the fan and the people took back their country, well at least for now. it has nothing to do with bush and of course the rest of the world knows this. bush`s idea is a play on chairman mao`s statement-"freedom comes from the barrel of a gun"

7. You made me realize 1 thing:
notice how the little loser is big on nouns: democracy, freedom is on the march, honor, family and all that stuff.

But notice he never GOES INTO DETAIL about democracy? He never specifies what it actually means. He just uses the word as an umbrella, repeats the words over and over again, hoping he'll hypnotize all of us into believing it.

Of course, we don't.

If he was bona fide, he would be able to list examples, and show proof of progress, and go down the list of exactly what it is he means.
